With the New Investor waiver, we waive the 0.25% advisory fee across all your investment accounts for a period of time.

How do I get this waiver?

First, see if you received an offer for the waiver by checking the main dashboard of your account. If you see the offer, all you have to do is open an investment account by the deadline listed next to the offer.

How long does this waiver last?

The waiver starts the moment you submit your first investment account application. It ends at the end of the month after the number of months referenced in the offer. For example, if you have a 3 month waiver and you open your first investment account on January 15, 2021, your waiver expires on April 30, 2021 at 11:59 EST.

You can check the expiration date by logging into Wealthfront and navigating to settings. The waiver will be displayed about a day after your account is opened.

Which accounts is this waiver applied to?

The waiver is applied to all investment accounts you have during the time the waiver is applied, regardless of the number of accounts you open. If you open a second account after the waiver has started, the fees will be waived on that new account for the remainder of the waiver period (which is calculated based on the date you opened the first account).

What happens after this waiver ends?

After the waiver ends, you start paying the advisory fee: 0.25% annually on the amount you invest. You won’t owe us anything from the waiver period.
